Training period: 42 months
Prerequisites: Mittlere Reife [» equivalent GCE "O" level], technical understanding, good mathematics skills, handicrafts skills; ability to work in a team
Training subjects: Connection systems; construction and installation of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components; measuring, testing and adjustment of mechanical and electrical functions; the repair and maintenance of mechatronic systems; the installation and testing of hardware and software components; the programming of mechatronic systems
Fields of work: Service, after-sales service, repair sectors; work in assembly lines, electrical production, testing shops and quality assurance. As an after-sales service or workshop fitter in the branch establishments: maintenance and the restoring of machines and equipment to a state of readiness for operation in changing operating locations; tracing the causes of faults in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic machines; preventive service. In our production facilities: work in assembly lines and testing shops
Opportunities for promotion: Foreman of special work sectors; tester in the sector of quality assurance; through further training to operations scheduler; via qualification as a master craftsman to workshop manager
