On adherence to the “2002/44/EG/Vibrations” operator guideline
What is meant by “human vibrations”?
All human vibrations affecting the fork-lift driver over the course of a day are summarised as “vibrations”.
In order to prevent the driver from incurring any long-term health impairments, they may not exceed a certain value. Therefore, for the purposes of driver protection therefore, a European operator guideline has come into force which makes vehicle operators responsible for providing evidence that these limit values are adhered to: the “2002/44/EG/Vibrations” guideline.
In order to support operators in correctly assessing the respective situation, Jungheinrich offers measurements of vibrations as a service.
Our employees support operators in communicating operating times, perform measurements during operation and supply the operator with the measuring protocols and test report. They can also provide tips on how to further reduce vibration levels for employees.
