At the beginning of 2010, Jungheinrich has launched a hydrostatic-drive counterbalanced truck in the small lifting class of max. 2,000 kilograms. This type DFG/TFG 316s-320s truck comes in a diesel or LPG version.
This ‘mini’ hydrostat is the logical extension of the type VFG 425s-435s truck that was successfully launched last year, adding that the proven concept in terms of design, drive technology, ergonomics and safety features had all been retained.
In practice, hydrostatic drive characteristics of the type DFG/TFG 316s-320s translate into fast and direct acceleration, but also into smooth and sleek changes of direction.
The hydrostatic drive technology employs only a few mechanical components, making it highly serviceable and low-maintenance. By utilising Volkswagen motors, several advantages from the automobile industry have now found their way into the IC engine forklifts from Jungheinrich. They are extremely quiet and consume considerably less energy, possessing very low emission values as a result.
During the construction of the driver's working place, special emphasis was placed on ergonomics and driving comfort, e.g. by giving the cab a spacious design with excellent all-round visibility and a foldable steering column with a memory feature.
