Jungheinrich wins in the category „Materials handling systems, picking“

Jungheinrich is a strong brand – a fact that has once more been confirmed: For the second time, the leading German industry magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE and the association Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V. presented the voting for the “Best Logistics Brand” on the eve of the “Day of Logistics” 2017. The readers of LOGISTIK HEUTE were invited to select the strongest brands in several areas of logistics. Eleven categories cover a vast range in the logistics industry, from seaports and shipping companys to railway services to carriers and vans. The preselected nominations comprised 250 brands with their yearly turnover being the decisive factor.

In 2017, Jungheinrich won the voting for the “Best Logistics Brand” in the category “Materials Handling and Storage Technology, Order Picking Systems”. Our member of the Board of Management (Logistics Systems) Dr. Klaus-Dieter Rosenbach accepted the trophy in the venerable “Kommandantenhaus” Unter den Linden in Berlin. He reflected about it as a validation of Jungheinrich's brand appearance: “To be awarded as 'Best Logistics Brand' for the second time is a confirmation of our successful and consistent development as a provider of intralogistics solutions. At Jungheinrich, we are proud of once again prevailing against all our competitors in this important competition. This demonstrates: Due to our expertise and experience, Jungheinrich has earned notable trust and is recognized by the industry as a strong partner.” Rosenbach continued: “In the future, we are going to expand our portfolio of reliable products, particularly elaborate process chains and extraordinary service according to our customers' demands.”

Strong brands determine the image of logistics

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Wimmer, Chairman of the Board of Management of the BVL, stated: “Strong brands have a strong visibility and significantly determine the image of an entire branch.” Thilo Jörgl, chief editor at LOGISTIK HEUTE, emphasized: “The voting presents an insight into the brand universe of logistics, the third largest economical sector in Germany.” Bert Brandenburg, CEO of the publishing house HUSS-VERLAG, added: “The majority of the logistics companies have recognized the importance of the brand as a driving factor for an excellent image. The results of this voting reflect the standing of these brands among the participating voters.”
