Jungheinrich wins in the category „Forklift Trucks and Driverless Transport Systems“

For the first time, the leading German industry magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE and the association Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V. presented the voting for the “Best Logistics Brand” on the “Day of Logistics”. The readers of LOGISTIK HEUTE were invited to select the strongest brands in several areas of logistics. Eleven categories cover a vast range of this industry branch, from forklift trucks to logistics software up to transport services and cargo trucks. 170 brands were nominated with yearly turnover being the decisive factor.

In 2016, Jungheinrich won the voting for the “Best Logistics Brand” in the category “Forklift Trucks and Driverless Transport Systems”. Dr. Lars Brzoska, Member of Jungheinrich AG’s board of management (Marketing & Sales), accepted the trophy and reflects about it as a confirmation of Jungheinrich’s new brand appearance. “Our guiding principle ‘Growing with Passion’ illustrates: Jungheinrich is in the midst of a change process. Our future lies in the area of logistics systems and all-in-one solutions. As leader of Intralogistics 4.0, we will proceed on this evolutionary path. Our goal: to become the number one brand of intralogistics in every European market and to be one of the top three providers worldwide in the long-run.”

Consistent marketing performance

This manifests in our brand’s claim “Jungheinrich – Machines. Ideas. Solutions.“ as well as in our new marketing appearance, which plays an essential role in product design and campaigns as well as tradeshow performances. Dr. Lars Brzoska: “This award is going to motivate me and everybody at Jungheinrich to keep moving on our successful path as a leading provider of intralogistics solutions and innovation leader of our industry.”

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Wimmer, Chairman of the Board of Management of the BVL, stated: “The voting results perfectly demonstrate the current standing of a brand. Strong brands enhance the image of logistics in public.” Thilo Jörgl, editor in charge of LOGISTIK HEUTE, added: “Naturally, in the area of logistics the employees play a crucial role. They are brand ambassadors and their reliability on the brand is of utmost importance.”
