Jungheinrich AG as the publisher of this site knows how important it is to you that your data is handled confidentially. It is possible to visit our site without providing any information about yourself. When you visit our website, the IP address currently used by your PC, the date and time, browser type and the pages viewed will be logged. This data is used exclusively to improve our Internet service and does not allow us to deduce any information concerning your person.

The personal data communicated to us is collected, processed and used exclusively in accordance with the principles described in this data protection declaration and in strict compliance with the regulations of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG).

Collecting, processing and using personal data

General Information

Personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or email address is not recorded unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of an application, an order for information material or an enquiry.   

Only if you have given your approval or – if so required by statutory regulations – have not raised an objection, will we use this data for product-related marketing purposes.

JH products may be ordered via the Jungheinrich Profishop. The data processing associated with this is explained to you in the data protection declaration for the Profishop. 

Newsletter

You may receive news and current offers from Jungheinrich in our FREE newsletter. We also provide journalists and investors in with a special newsletter. If you have entered your email address, first and last name under the heading “Email distribution list”, pressed the “Subscribe” button and once more confirmed your subscription via the link sent to you at the specified email address (double opt-in), we will process and use your email address to send you the required newsletter on a regular basis.

You may easily unsubscribe from the respective newsletter at any time with effect for the future via the link at the end of each newsletter or online by pressing the “Unsubscribe” button under the heading “Newsletter subscription”.

Objection and retraction 

In accordance with the BDSG, you have the right to object to or retract your consent to the use of the data for advertising purposes at any time. It is sufficient to send us a simple message (email address) stating the company, name, full address and customer number, if applicable.

If you have provided us with personal data, you may delete this at any time. The data provided by you will only be stored until the purpose for which it was entrusted to us has been fulfilled. Commercial and tax retention periods may require a longer storage duration.

Disclosure of personal data

The personal data which you communicated to us via a website or by email (e.g. your name and address or email address) will be processed only for correspondence with you and for the purpose for which you have provided us with the data. The information collected on this website will be forwarded to the appropriate unit within our company. Google AdWords online advertising program

Google Remarketing and DoubleClick

Cookies / Services provided by Microsoft

Use of Microsoft conversion tracking

Our online offering also uses Microsoft conversion tracking (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). This involves a cookie being placed on the visitor's computer by Microsoft Bing Ads, where this is required by a Microsoft Bing display ad on our website. In this way, Microsoft Bing and we can detect that somebody has clicked on a display ad, been forwarded to our website and reached a predetermined target page (conversion page). When doing so we only learn the total number of users that have clicked on a Bing display ad and then been forwarded to the conversion page. No personal data regarding the identity of the users is shared.
