Jungheinrich and Maschinenring agree cooperation
• Purchasing advantages for around 200,000 farms
• Long-term partnership agreement
• Jungheinrich-Service ensures continuous availability of forklift trucks
Hamburg/Neuburg an der Donau: Germany’s largest network for the procurement of farming machinery, Maschinenring Deutschland, and Jungheinrich, Europe’s leading manufacturer of fork lift trucks, have agreed a close cooperation. Since 1 April, the cooperation between the two companies has secured 192,000 Maschinenring member farms purchasing advantages for the procurement of fork lift trucks. The aim of the cooperation is to offer Maschinenring members modern and efficient Jungheinrich forklift trucks.
“By cooperating with Jungheinrich we guarantee Maschinenring members attractive special conditions for the procurement of high-quality forklift trucks. We have been particularly impressed with the high level of service from Jungheinrich. The continuous availability of forklift trucks that this provides is particularly important in farming,” states Thomas Hausner, Head of Purchasing Advantages at Maschinenringe Deutschland GmbH. Jungheinrich has decades of experience in farming. Frank Strasmann, UE/STR Manager Sales and Marketing Germany at Jungheinrich, explains: "For us the Maschinenring network is the perfect platform for making even more attractive offers for fork lift trucks to farming groups. Maschinenring was founded in 1958 in Buchhofen, Lower Bavaria. A Maschinenring is an association in which farms combine to jointly use farming and forestry machinery and to procure farm labour in the event of overcapacities.The Bundesverband der Maschinenringe e.
