Hamburg – Jungheinrich AG, a global leader in intralogistics, today announced the launch of Uplift Ventures’ inaugural €100 million venture capital fund. The new fund is dedicated to backing Europe’s next generation of Deep Tech founders and marks a significant step in Jungheinrich’s long-term strategy to extend its innovation reach.
With the new fund, Uplift Ventures plans to invest in high-growth technology companies and selected Deep Tech Venture Capital funds across Europe, USA and Asia. The focus is on early stage founders developing innovative solutions in the fields of Physical AI, Energy, Enterprise AI and Logistics.
The launch marks another important milestone in Jungheinrich's Strategy 2030+, which aims to expand the company's portfolio and strengthen its long-term growth through innovation, new business models and strategic partnerships.
“Deep Tech requires patient capital and partners who understand both industrial challenges and entrepreneurial ambition”, said Dr. Lars Brzoska, CEO Jungheinrich. “Uplift Ventures invests in the next generation of industrial leaders, making them an important partner for Jungheinrich, with world class financial returns and with immense value for our 2030+ strategy.”
Through Uplift Ventures, Jungheinrich gains structured, early access to the innovation fields it considers most relevant to its future and collaborates with the next generation of entrepreneurs and builders. The Venture Capital fund extends the existing Venture Building activities launched in 2025 and expands the platform further.
To lead Uplift Ventures’ new fund, Christian Noske joins Uplift Ventures’ leadership team as General Partner. Noske has more than a decade of experience investing in Deep Tech companies across Europe, US and China. Prior to joining Uplift Ventures, he led European investments at NGP Capital and was a founding partner at BMW i Ventures & Alliance Ventures (Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi). Over the course of his career, he has backed over 40 companies, including in robotics, energy, space tech, autonomous driving, manufacturing and logistics.
