With the new ETV 4i, which has a load capacity of 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes, Jungheinrich is launching a powerful reach truck that is consistently designed for maximum productivity.
Hamburg – The new ETV 4i expands Jungheinrich's portfolio of powerful electric reach trucks for high-bay applications with particularly high handling requirements. The truck is aimed at users with high handling requirements, such as in distribution centres, production supply, or multi-shift operations. With load capacities ranging from 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes and lift heights of up to 14 metres, the ETV 4i covers a wide range of applications.

Highest lifting and lowering speed on the market as a productivity lever
The key performance feature of the ETV 4i is its exceptional dynamics in the lift mast. Various PRO functions are included as standard: liftingPRO doubles the lifting speed to up to 1.5 m/s without load. This gives the reach truck the highest lifting speed in its class on the market. The loweringPRO function doubles the lowering speed to up to 1.2 m/s – also a top value in this market segment. With reachPRO, reach speed is also significantly increased, saving additional time, especially when pallets are moved frequently.
These performance data directly impact handling performance: storage and retrieval processes can be carried out much faster with the ETV 4i, especially at high lift heights. At the same time, the sensitive control of the hydraulics, with semi-automated auxiliary functions, ensures a smooth mast transition and high process reliability even at maximum speed.
“Especially at high storage levels, the lifting and lowering speed determines productivity per shift,” explains Hißnauer. “With the market-leading lifting and lowering speed of the ETV 4i, our customers can significantly reduce their handling costs per pallet, which means that the vehicle costs are quickly amortised, especially in multi-shift operations.”
Compact lithium-ion design, excellent visibility, and high safety
The fully integrated lithium-ion battery serves as the technological foundation of the ETV 4i. It enables extremely short charging times and flexible intermediate charging, eliminating the need for battery changes or long charging breaks. This increases the availability of the vehicle, especially in multi-shift operation.
Thanks to its very compact vehicle design, the ETV 4i is ideal for narrow aisles and is consistently engineered for efficient space use in the warehouse. The elimination of a classic battery tray allows for optimal visibility of the wheel arms and load, a crucial safety factor, especially in narrow aisles.
Optional safety features, such as integrated light strips, enhance the vehicle's visibility in the warehouse. Assistance systems for monitoring the load capacity and the configurable positioning laser for straightforward stacking of the load actively support the driver and contribute to a safe and efficient material flow.
Ergonomic driver's compartment for productive work
A generously designed driver's compartment with a step for ergonomic access, individually adjustable steering wheel and armrest, and plenty of freedom of movement ensures a high level of operating comfort. An optional innovative camera system further enhances ergonomics during storage and retrieval by enabling precise load positioning with minimal physical strain.
